Okay, I have been a pretty pitiful blogger lately,
but I am making it up tonight with two posts in one night!

Ok, I admit it, lately I have been known as Mrs. Scrooge. NO Christmas spirit here. Shoot there hasn't been a tree up, lights hung, gifts wrapped,
not even a fa-la-la-la.
The world and all of it's hassles, and life with all of its responsibilities, has caught up with me and to be honest, I felt like I was drowning without a life preserver.
Then without warning, I receive a Christmas blessing, from a blessing that I have in front of me all year long. One that knows the good and the bad about me, and can even sense when I am turning into the dreadful,
MRS. SCROOGE!!
Angie B, my bestest friend in the world,
sent me my beautiful Christmas blessing above.
She said that she hoped that it would bring me some Christmas cheer.
Now, I don't know if it was the pretty arrangement above with the adorable little snowman,
or the fact that my friend was thinking of me, or both,
that did the trick, but I will declare,
I do believe Mrs. Scrooge has hit the highway.
The Christmas tree stands in my livingroom awaiting all its lights and ribbon,
I even bought a cd of Christmas Carols.

During my stint as Mrs. Scrooge, I never forgot what this season is all about, the gift that God sent to us so long ago. However, I think in all my discouragement, I failed to appreciate the other gifts that God has given me, and remember what blessings they have and do bring to my life, not only at Christmastime, but every day of the year.
Thank you, Sisterfriend, for being one of my greatest blessings
I love you woman!
