I was lucky enough to spend my St. Patty's Day with my wonderful friend, Angie, and little Miss Ella(aka My Sunshine).
By the way, Thank You, Faye, for taking care of our lunch. It was wonderful!
I had a wonderful time, we laughed, almost cried, we played tag team with Miss Ella, laughed again,
and while dress shopping almost cried again!
There is nothing quite like spending a day with someone you share such a great friendship with.
I feel lucky and blessed to have Angie in my life. She is an answer to a prayer prayed long ago.
We often joke about the fact that God knew exactly
what he was doing when he waited until we were adults to bring us into each other's lives.
There is nothing I can't or wouldn't say to her, and I know she is always there for me,
regardless what life may send my way.
I see her underestimate how wonderful she is as a mother, as a friend.
She really doesn't see herself the way I and the many others around her see her.
That being the case, I felt led after coming home tonight, to grab the few pictures I have of her
and quickly put them in a show with a song
that made me think of her from the moment I heard it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Angie,
The slideshow is nothing special, but I do hope you hear the message of the song
and realize what you mean to me as a friend and to your children as a mother.
Many days you have so much on your plate, so many worries and concerns that come and go.
Please know that you are still as wonderful as ever and when each day comes to an end
and you feel as though nothing you did that day meant anything,
believe me when I say it meant EVERYTHING.
Because You are Changing the World!
