Fundraising Update

I just finished totaling the money

raised thus far for our

"Walking for Ella"

mission.

Between our

walk registrations fees,

donations,

and bake sale totals

my figures show

that we have raised around

drum roll please

............................

$4100.00

for the

Beyond the Limits Foundation

and we are not finished yet!

We have three weeks to go, and what a difference three weeks can make.

and Just so you know, what we are doing is getting some attention.

Nan Pazdro, founder of Beyond the Limits,

has already donated a

Face of Autism sign on behalf of our team.

These signs will be placed along the three miles that we walk

and will feature children who face autism in their lives everyday.

Originally, the plan was for me to purchase one of these with a donation of $50.00,

but because of the work we are doing here,

Nan Pazdro offered it as a donation!

Another bit of news to share,

there is a possibility our "Walking for Ella" story could be one story talked about

on WKRN channel 2 news on the April 19 newscast.

Nan emailed me and said that there is talk in the works about

Alison Hatcher of WKRN

doing a story for the newscast about the Beyond the Limits walk,

and asked, if they decide to go forward with the story,

if I might be interested in sharing our inspiring story.

Keep in mind that this is NOT a definite yet,

but goes to show that what you guys are participating in

is already making a difference for Ella.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to share our little inspiration

with Nashville and the surrounding areas

so that she can be an inspiration to them as well?!!

Houston County may be little in size,

but you guys are proving that it is BIG in heart.

Thank you, thank you, thank you on behalf of Ella!

My Little Inspiration

I KNOW she will be an inspiration

to many others as well

I had a vision in my mind of what it would look like,

all of us walking in support of Ella,

when I came across this photograph online

it inspired me to make my vision a reality.

I hope that as you look at this picture,

that you think ahead

to April 19,

and that you can get a vision of the inspiration

you will be.

Say a prayer for me as things get down to the wire.

I need all the help I can get!
