Are You Ready for Some Football?!!

On Wednesday, May 7, 2008, two of the great football giants battled it out at Conwell Field.

Quarterback Cullen "Hotfingers" Baggett, of the Knoxville Knights, was ready for action prior to the start of the game, as was his greatest threat,

Receiver Blake "the Snake" Conwell, of the Ridge Rockers,

who had been talking some smack just before kick-off.

Knights player, Conner "the Knee-knocker" Conwell anxiously watched ....

as these two tough guys went HEAD to HEAD.

"Hotfingers" Baggett was on fire during every drive.....

His fire was soon put out when "The Snakeman" slithered past the defensive lineman

to make the catch to tie the game!

In disbelief, "Hotfingers" Baggett decided it was time to get down to business.

Not to be outdone by his opponents show of muscle,

he decided to show some muscle of his own

and all the world stood in awe at his magnificent physique.

Then, it was time to get down to business.

This power throw somehow found it's way to his opponent....



who then required the team to take an injury time-out.

Hotfingers decided to bring out his secret weapon, Conner "the Kneeknocker" Conwell,

to assist him on the last play.

His handoff, was actually a fake,

and "Hotfingers" headed downfield to catch the pass at the 50 yard line.

the pass was then fumbled and recovered by "the Snakeman".

With the game tied, the two tough guys decided to forego the overtime for a good ol' backscratchin'



which was then followed by a victory dance

as they ended the game,

they still found themselves to be tough guys,

they were still competitors,

but rather than being called winners that day they decided to be called friends.
