I hope that I will raise a family that will always remember what today is about and never forget what it means to be an American soldier and an American soldier's family. So many times the sacrifices made by our military are overlooked by politics, a fight over who is right or wrong, republican or democrat, but bottom line, we are ALL Americans.
Regardless of the differences we may have, we must respect the American man who gives his life for our freedom, and the freedom of others.

Michelle, Thank you for posting this. This song is not easy to hear. I LOVE it, however, in some ways it just hits too close to me. Anyway, from a Soldier's daughter, I thank you. On be half of daddy, I know he'll agree with me, there has been no greater honor than for him to protect us and serve his Country!
