Once Again....

Once again...

I found myself walking around outside with my camera,

trying to see what new treasures I could find.

I must admit, I have really enjoyed it so far.

I have a few new ones to post,

a few flowers and a couple of animals this time.

I never know what I may find to snap a picture of,

but I am always amazed at the new things I see

when I look through my lens.

This is my favorite of the day.

Our cute little buddy from next door.

I have been trying to get him to sit still for days so I could get a photo.

This guy cracked me up when I looked at him.

He reminds me of some dude I have seen pictures of from the 70's. His eyes look like sunglasses, and his expression just makes me think

"H-e-y, Peace, M-a-n.

.

As I looked at this flower, I couldn't help but think again of how amazing it is that God created each flower with its own special characteristics.

This amazed me even while I was trying to get the picture.

Here is this flower about the size of a dime, it's petals are thin, fragile, wispy. On it stands a bug, maybe a 1/4 of an inch long with antennae that are probably two inches long. It stood there, trying to keep its balance as he waited ever so patiently, holding on, trying to reach his antennae to the bloom beside it.

He was still trying when I left. How often to we give up all too quickly when things get tough, and things look too far out of our reach. Maybe we should take a lesson from this tiny one.

I saved the best for last.

Just two of the biggest animals I captured yesterday. I have many others to share but thought I show just this one for now.
