Does this look like....

a three year old to you?
Me, either!!!
~~~
Whether I am ready for him
to be three years old or not,
the fact remains he is.
Time has flown by
and I must say I am trying to deny the fact
that another year has come and gone.
~~~
Three...
what does it mean to be a three year old boy?
Well,
for this three year old little boy it means....
that you love
trucks...cars...
Chuck E. Cheese
(whose name I have heard 1,000 times since Saturday!)...
snuggling with Mommy...
ANYTHING, and I do mean ANYTHING
sports related...
playing hock (otherwise known as hockey)...
playing with his bubba...
shirts with balls on them...
Diego....Oswald...
right now...butter
(right now, he is eating it out of the bowl as I type!!!!)...
ice cream...
playdough...
chocolate chip muffins...
pancakes....
going with Daddy to do errands....
sleeping with Alex & Blake...
staying up late...
sleeping in...
singing his ABC'S...
Hot Wheels...
Batman/Spiderman
(even though he hasn't really watched either one)...
Tom & Jerry...
his buddies, Jed-e, Jadanne, & Lilly...
Grandma & Kaffy...
Aunt Gaybo & Fwankie...
Papaw...
the books,
"How Does a Dinosaur Say Goodnight", "Max & Ruby",
"Badger's Fancy Meal"....
and a hosts of other things.
~~~
His world is full of excitement, wonder,
and million questions!
He isn't really wanting to have his picture taken either.
The ones I will post over the next couple of days
I had to work for...
and I mean work for!!!
It's a good thing that
Mommy will do ANYTHING,
and I do mean ANYTHING....
for a photograph!
He has the most beautiful blue eyes....
~~~
I said I would do ANYTHING for a picture, right?
Can you say
YOO-HOO?!!
It doesn't hurt that it coordinates with his shirt!

Carson,
my baby...
as you travel
through life's twist and turns
and
grow and change into a sweet little boy...
~~~
~~~
May you always look back
on this time in your life
and
know how much you are loved...
~~~
~~~
and what joy and happiness
you have brought to our lives in these last three years.
You are one my life's greatest blessings.
I love you, little man!

  1. Michelle, You are amazingly talented! I know that the kids will love and cherish all the photos when they grow up. I know that I love to look at old pictures. And you have the uncanny ability to really capture emotion in them. As I look through and read your blog, it brings tears to my eyes and a smile to my lips. Congratultions on your and Jimmy's anniversary. 14 years! WoW! Me and Roy just had our 4 year and I can't wait to see what the next 10 years will be bring. I can only hope that we are blessed with as much happiness and love as you and Jimmy share.
    All the love and God's blessing to the Conwell Clan!
