There's always something more to be learned in....

Marriage.
On August 6th,
Jimmy and I will celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary.
After fourteen years,
the newness has worn off...
we've gotten to know each other...
the good & the bad...
we still don't agree on everything...
the pet peeves that drove me crazy as newlyweds...
still drive me crazy...and then some!

BUT

everything worth having and fighting for...
has obstacles you have to face.
When you love someone and start a life with them
there isn't a guarantee you are given that says
Life will be all rainbows and roses.
So often today people aren't willing to fight for their marriage
all too often they just throw it away when the going gets tough.
I have spent almost 14 years with a wonderful man
and I can't wait for 14 more.

I just received an e-mail about a new movie coming out next month.
It's from the creators of the "Facing the Giants",
a wonderful movie with a great message,
it's one of my all time favorites.
This time, they are not tackling football & giants, but marriage.
It looks to be a movie that all of us that are married can benefit from.
