I'm glad to see the high heat and humidity
starting to give way to the sun filled days and
brisk, cool nights of autumn.
I anxiously await the leaves
slowly turning into beautiful shades
of orange, gold, & red.
The brightly colored flowers of the summer
are traded in for the warm tones from
fall's favorite flower, the mum
while cornstalks are prepared to stand high
and tower over the piles of pumpkins below...
But...
before God brings all the wonderful things
mentioned above to life...
He gives us the last few moments of summer

Take time to soak in every last minute.

Swinging & Summertime
they just seem to go together

and they never cease to put a smile
on your face

If it's not the swingset at our house
it's the trampoline
and since we ARE the Conwell family
we jump with the hulk gloves
so that we can triple our chances of having
some bodily injury

This momma didn't raise no fool.

Carson may take and take but one day...

they normally revert back
to their typical childhood behaviors..
nose picking.
What mother isn't cringing with me as you see this?
Either at the nose picking or
at the fact that instead of me stopping him
as he reached mid knuckle...

I love the "tripling the risk" by jumping on a trampoline with the Hulk gloves. So true, so true.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me that is not a motorized vehicle the kids are riding. That's all you need, a Conwell with a motor under them. Talk about tripling the risk. Oh, dear. Conner with be riding on it inside the trampoline with Carson in tow. (Although that does sound fun!! I'll be right over!)
Considering the fact that I know how much you enjoyed watching kids pick their noses @ the Christian School, I know just how much that picture means to you. That one may come in quite handy some day. LOL Love it.
