that is what I am about now.
On October 27, 2007
I started this blog.
Without a clue of what I was doing...
not sure if I had anything interesting to say...
or if anyone would care.
I wanted to have a way for
my loved ones that I don't see everyday
to keep up with my crazy. wonderful. and often funny life.
I also wanted a way to document all the things
that I didn't have time to scrapbook anymore.
Moments like Blake's first ballgames...
Alex's performances and dramatic episodes...
Conner's Connerisms and trouble finding missions...
Carson just being Carson...
the special moments spent
with that awesome man in my life...
and the wonderful memories made with wonderful friends.
It has turned into so much more for me.
A way to reach others...
A way to cope with things
I at times don't understand...
and
more than anything...
a way to hopefully leave a legacy for my kids.
So, that when all is said and done
they will know how much they changed my life
and what positive changes they helped to bring out in me
and ultimately how much
their imperfect, inexperienced, unsure mother
loved them.
~~~~~
So, tonight, I sit here amazed at the realization
that in just under a year I have had
almost 3,100 visits
to this blog of mine.
It looks like there are people interested in reading
about my life regardless of the craziness it sometimes offers.
Thanks to everyone who stops by this place,
and to those who occasionally
leave me a comment..
thank you for doing it,
it's often provides encouragement to me.
To those who haven't, there have to be several,
(you don't get to 3,000 with just one person reading it)
take time to stop and say Hello.
I'd love to hear from you.
~~~~~
Here is to another year's worth of memorable moments...
and another 3,000 visits to
remind me how lucky I am to
live each day with a family who supports me &
who tolerates my imperfections and compulsiveness...
to remind me that there are other people out there
who appreciate this crazy life of mine...
and
more than anything...
to remind me that there is a God
who is responsible for blessing me with it all.
~~~~~
Now onto the next 3,000!!
