I never have to face.
You can see it in this short video.
My daughter, upon seeing it, was upset
and asked why I would want to put something so sad on here.
I was fighting back tears when I told her
that I didn't mean it to be sad,
I meant for it to help us all
relate...understand...be reminded...come to know...
what God did for us, all of us.
Even if there had just been me or you on this earth...
God would've sent His son.
The movie has such symbolism
of what God did for us in sending His son.
Upon watching this,
I relate the to the father's sacrifice, but...
I can not imagine making the decision
that father had to make.
God our Father,
faced that same decision.
To save His Son or save the world.
What agony He must have faced as a father.
What a sacrifice...what a gift...
just for insignificant you and me.
John 3:16-
"For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son
that whosoever believeth in Him,
should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 10:9
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God
hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Thank you, God, for your sacrifice.
Thank you for our gift of your son, our salvation.
Thank you, Misty, for sharing it with me
it was a true blessing to me today.
