Sisters & Brothers...

I know from seeing firsthand
that the relationship between a sister and brother
changes like the wind.
I tell Alexandra and Blake all the time
that God chose them to be sister and brother
for a reason.
He gave them a life long gift that one day,
they will treasure.
I had the pleasure of photographing
another sister & brother duo...
their relationship reminded me so much of
Alexandra & Blake.
Though all four may tend to act as if
they really don't need the other one around...
or that they don't care
all that much from time to time...
they know, when the cards are down...
and all is said and done...
who is on their side...
and who always has their back.
One day they will realize too,
that, more importantly,
these are the people who...
~~~~~
they will forever carry in their heart,
along with all the memories of today.
Meet Cole...
a handsome fella...
that made me work for every smile!!
I didn't get many...but he was a hard one to crack!
To the outside world we all grow old.
But not to brothers and sisters.
We know each other as we always were.
We know each other's hearts.
We share private family jokes.
We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys.
We live outside the touch of time.
